suka The Script? suka ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’?

Sukalah,…emang keren, mantap punya lah, nah setelah itu, biasa..mulai muncul komparasi, perbandingan disana-sini, ada yang bilang ‘The Script’ itu the new U2, baby U2, ..trus, padahal, beberapa taun kemarin, banyak yang unjuk tangan : ‘Coldplay’ is the new U2, yang benar mana??

Atau,…coba kita liat komparasi berikut :

U2 :

Dublin,1976, 4 members, CBS Record-mercury records, 11 studio albums (’Boy’ taun 1980 - ‘How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb’ 2004) + 40 single hit (’Another Day’ 1980 - ‘The Ballad Of Ronnie Drew’ 2008) + 8 live albums, + total 120 juta copies album terjual ke seluruh dunia……wow

Coldplay :

London, England,1998, 4 members, capitol records, 4 studio album (’Parachutes’ 1998 - ‘Viva Lavida’ 2008), 6 mini album/EP, 18 single hit (’Brothers & Sisters’ 1998 - ‘Lost’ 2008), 1 ive album, + total penjualan album 32 juta copies.

The Script :

Dublin, Irlandia, 2001, 3 members, phonogenic records, 1 studio album (’The Script’ 2008),  2 single hit (We Cry & The Man who Can’t Be Moved)

Komparasi, atau lebih tepatnya data ini toh belum termasuk beberapa grammy untuk U2 & coldplay, + beberapa ‘tanda jasa’ lainnya, tapi toh sah-sah saja untuk lebih suka ‘The Script’, atau ‘U2′ atau malah ‘Coldplay’, karena mereka lain jaman man!!  

Gampangnya, pejamkan mata, dengerin ‘The Ground Beneath Her feet’ nya U2, trus denger juga ‘Gravity’ nya Coldplay, sebelum kamu pindah ke track terakhir ‘If You See Kay’ nya The Script, nuansanya, heeemmm…..
